  Thanks yelpers - your positive review led to my selecting Woody's Towne Cafe as a meet in the middle place. What a find! My first time visiting and not my last. Sure, I had a basic breakfast - sunny eggs, toast and potatoes, but it was all cooked to perfection and served with a smile.
  
  My first time in Allentown, I had plenty of time to stroll through the lake side town after breakfast and enjoy the scenic lake, walk on the dock and visit to neighboring craft stores.
  
  Woody's is everything you'd want in a breakfast nook - hot coffee, friendly service and a variety of fairly priced breakfast items for the meat lovers and health-conscious alike.

  What a nice little hidden gem.
  Quaint quiet place in a really charming town
  Staff is so friendly. Food was very good.
  Nice menu options.
  Just overall really excellent
  Definitely will add to my list of places I must go back to.

  Okay, so maybe I'm a breakfast snob, but this place was just average to me. It does have that small-town charm, but the food was just average breakfast in my opinion. It's a small area so tables felt small and cramped, and it just felt like a typical Jersey diner to me. There aren't too many other options in the area so it's good if you can't find anywhere else to go. But with all the rave reviews, I was hoping for much much more.

  The service was amazing, and so was the food.
  I actually came across this restaurant because there were good reviews and the location was convenient. This cafe serves amazing scrambled eggs with ham. Highly recommend this restaurant.

  I tried Woody's for the first time over the weekend for lunch. Everything went over splendidly! It was lunch time so the breakfast crowd had cleared up by then. We were able to choose wherever we wanted to sit. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The menu is quite impressive as well! They have your staples for breakfast and lunch, but they have some unique offerings for a small town establishment, including a glazed donut burger, monte cristo, and cool French Fry options like chicken and chipotle cheese fries. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich and swapped it onto a kaiser role. Holy smokes, this was huge and delicious! The chicken pieces thick and nicely coated with buffalo sauce, not lacking in flavor one bit. They offer blue cheese or ranch on the side. I swapped out my regular fries for the chicken and chipotle cheese fries. These were outstanding! There were many chunks of chicken throughout and the chipotle sauce added a delicious kick. I was given so much food I had enough to bring home as leftovers. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken wrap and it was served warm with lots of French fries! We loved our meals and the cozy atmosphere. Eating here makes visitors feel like you're part of the small town, too. We'll definitely come back!
